rolls up his pants and plays in dirty creek water with his nieces. Jennifer forgot her water shoes... She was sad.

Your water shoes should've been in the first box you moved over! How could you not be prepared to play in the creek when it is so close.. and so fun! I think you may have just slip down a rung on the "cool (sort-of) Aunt" scale.

There are at the new house, I just forgot to put them on my feet. They are right next to the snow shoes you insisted on moving in the middle of JULY!
You never know when you might need those. I would probably try and walk on water down in the creek with them on.
