The Fence

Our house did not have a fence when purchased.  A hound dog can not be trusted off leash, which means the fence was the number one priority. Surely we can put in a fence before it snows, right?

WRONG. Enter red tape. Do you know how many people had to approve a fence? Let me just tell you.
1. Zoning Board
2. Architectural Review Board
3. City Council (seriously the mayor cares about our fence?!)

We started the process end of August. And received city approval December 21. Then of course snow means no fence. Actual fence building started in beginning April.

Today it's June 2nd and we have VICTORY!!! The fence is in, the gates are hooked up. We are so so happy. Penny can run free! Hurray!
