MMC - 23 Months

Meredith is the most polite child. She says please and thank you unprompted. "Thank you my mommy. Thank you my daddy"

As polite as she may be, don't anger this kid. She can throw a heck of a tantrum. She does not like to be told no. Bottom line...If Meredith isn't happy no one is happy.

Meredith puts on her own shoes and coat. She climbs into the car seat and buckles the first clasp. It takes a LONG time to leave the house, which is frustrating but I see the light at the end of the tunnel! Wahoo self sufficiency here we come!

She is doing very well at feeding clinic. She eats a whole yogurt! If you knew where we started you too would be amazed.

Meredith loves to jump. Jump jump jump. Then she screams HIGH! She jumps for joy when she's happy. Both kids do and I love it!

She likes to hide. And for everyone else to hide. Then she screams BOO!

She is crazy for mints. Meredith can be motivated to do anything...for a tic tac or a peppermint candy. She also loves to use my mint toothpaste.

When she's about to fall sleep, she pulls her hair. Every time. If I look in the back seat and hair pulling has started....we make a Uturn for home.

When she hears Chip come down the stairs she runs with glee and tosses her arms around him.

She sings to herself. She has long conversations of mostly babble. She understands all instructions and (generally) follows them.

When you explain something to Meredith she says oooooooooh to show you she understands.

Lately she come over tilts her head and asks "What are your doing mama?" Love.

Here's our little (fiery) buttercup.
