Pregnancy is Amusing - Documentation

My list of favorite pregnancy moments thus far.

1. Eating two donuts in the grocery store and explaining to the cashier why I wanted to pay for an empty bag. I confessed this to Chip on the way to meeting him at our first ultrasound. He comes to greet me and says WHAT is all over your FACE?! Oh my gosh it is donut glaze! And proceeds to scrape it off my face in the parking lot shaking his head saying, I cannot believe we have succumbed to this already. You are only 5 weeks preggo. (On a different trip, I ate a bag of sour gummy bears... I forgot they had to weigh them before consumption whoops.. I stole some.)

2. I was still trying to fit into my pre-wedding pants. While admitting they were a getting a  little lot tight. Chip said calmly, you are going to choke the baby. Valid point. Well those pants are permanently out now. In fact, the pants I wore to church on Sunday. No longer fit the following Friday. Time to bring more than one pair of pants to the gym. Makes for an uncomfortable day without a larger backup.

3. I lost my razor at the gym. I called the dr's office to ask if I had to undress for an intake appointment. I Didn't want anyone to see my hairy legs. The nurse laughed very very hard and said, Oh that's just going to get worse. I wouldn’t worry about it. YES but right now I have no excuse for bad hygiene! So stop laughing!

4. Ask Chip to see his rendition of the embryo attaching to the uterine lining. It's frightening. He performed this for my doctor at our first appointment. She's cool. Didn't even flinch at the weird man.

5. The first person Chip told about the baby… The nice male worker at Whole Foods. He just blurted it out, because he could. My wife is pregnant! Who is that guy going to tell? True Dat Homey..
