My favorite part of my job is calling people and inquiring about odd things. I get to talk to the best people.
Here is what I learned today;
Dump Trucks are going out of style. Did you know that? The insurance is very high on dump trucks. No one can afford them anymore.
Rental Costs for BackHoes & Excavators - $250 - $450 a day, plus freight costs (which is another $200).
There you have it.
Next step. Find a mud pit to dig holes with the above excavator. Whoops, it just occurred to me.... I need someone to DRIVE my excavator and backhoe! ooohh. Back on the phone with my new friend.

Wow... sounds like a good business to be in. I bet you only need to rent it out once a month to make your money's worth.
