Unfortunately, we didn't have anybody else on our tour... so we couldn't go on the outrigger canoe, which holds 20 people. In exchange, we went kayaking which we love, so fine by us.
On the way down to the beach. We spotted a flock of Macaw's.
Beautiful birds. Amazing to see them in the wild.
We have been Kayaking many times, but never on the open water.
After an hour, we pulled over for some snorkeling.
Snorkel masks are just not attractive.
The schools of fish were, but the tide was coming in, so it was too sandy for pictures.
Wait for it, wait for it....
ACTION SHOT!
He snapped this for his brochure. We are so famous.
This, my Friends, was the last day of vacation. We headed to San Jose for one last night before boarding the plane headed home to Penny. We were very tired once we arrived in San Jose. We almost fell asleep in our dinner plates.
We were in Costa Rice for a total of 10 days. Two being fly in and fly out nights. We came, we saw, we did everything Costa Rica had to offer. I HIGHLY recommend going to Costa Rica before it gets too popular (and they start paving roads). The people are great. The surroundings are beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to bring older kids, especially outdoorsy children they would love it.
