Phoebe asked her longtime babysitter "Are you a good driver?"
After she was satisfied with her sitter's answer, she declared "alright then. You can drive me to the pool in mom's car."
"You know...because I can't drive yet"
Really? Are you interviewing chauffeur's now?
When we met her new teacher, she shared the following information. "My underwear is purple and matches my shorts. Want to see?"
She starts every day with this statement "mom let's think about our plan ok"
She likes Super Why and Word girl. She desperately wants to read. My car is beginning to look like a library.
When she does something she perceives as grownup she say "mom, big girls can do that, ya know!"
Phoebe loves to meet new people around town. We need to work on her technique a bit. Currently she screams across the room "WHAT'S YOUR NAME!!!"
She had a meeting between a golf ball and her eye the weekend before school started. Well that's one way to make an impression!
Preschool started Sept 1. She was so excited and has done extremely well. A few times she told me she "sometimes gets a little nervous." We are proud of her ability to adapt to new situations.
