Phoebe is TWO (or Five, if you ask her)

Phoebe is TWO!

She is 33.75 inches tall (50 percentile) and 25 pounds (25 percentile). The doctor put her on a high fat diet to pack on the pounds. I guess its ok that she likes to eat; only the butter off her toast, mayo with a spoon, cream cheese out of the container, guacamole but not chips.

She eats really well. The low weight is because the kid NEVER stops moving! She is a little tornado. She goes and goes and goes until BAM she is asleep. You better keep up with her or be left behind.

Phoebe is into hygiene. Brushing her teeth and washing her hands are very long experiences.

She loves a good party. Dancing, eating, laughing is her idea of a perfect evening. Even better, if it all happens outside.

She goes upstairs to get stuff out of her room by herself. Not sure if that is a bigger milestone for her or me. I listen to the little feet wander around above me. It takes all of my will power, not to go see what she is doing.

Her biggest hero is her dad. She follows him around everywhere. She has meltdowns when he leaves the room. She wants to use his tools, wear his socks and cook with him. If he is doing something, you will likely find her following him.

She has started to let me put her hair in ponytails YAY! I can only do it once though. So at the end if the day it looks a little ragged. Catch us in the AM, we are neat and tidy. That goes for our clothes too.

She has started to sing, which is quite funny. She thinks her grandma has her own song. nana nana A! Hey hey hey goodbye. She sings it over and over and over.

When you ask her how her day was.. she says GOOD. always Gooood.

Phoebe randomly screams HAPPY DAY! This makes us feel like really good parents. Hey, she's happy. Our job is done.

She enjoys a good game of golf on TV and in the yard. Weird. We don't golf. Well Chip does, every couple of years... He should start practicing.

Phoebe has started to scream CHIP CHIP CHIP! It appears that I scream for Chip quite often.

Unfortunately, her sharing needs some work. She screams MY TURN even when no one else is around. She is ok out of the house, but with her own toys, wooza.

Happy Birthday Phoebe! We love you! We look forward to year three. It is sure to be busy busy.
