17 Months - PC

Here is Phoebe Claire's 17 Month update!

-She is sleeping on a cot at daycare. They say its going very well. I think they are fibbing. She rolls around like a maniac while sleeping. There is no way she doesn't fall off a tiny cot. 

-Phoebe screams while running room to room. Walking is no longer cool. 

-She learned to put on her socks! Her teacher said she takes all the other kids' socks off and puts them on her feet. She thinks it's so cute. I think perhaps.... she gets away with a little tooooo much.

-She learned to put her hat on too. (and keep it on yay)

-Phoebe is into throwing things these days. Another thing her teacher thinks is so cute. I think.... she is trying to throw a ball at your head and should be corrected on occassion. Just saying. She looks innocent. 

-She insists on Chip wearing one particular pair of shoes. She brings them to him about 10 times a day. 

-New Vocabulary: nose, eye, mouth, dog, shoes. milk, water, bath, bubbles

-She says maMA with a funny little Italian accent. 

-She picks out her own clothes on occasion. Luckily for me, it is usually also my favorite shirts. 

-She eats lots of snow, much to her father's dismay

-Favorite songs: twinkle twinkle, itsy bitsy. Hand motions required

-She SCREAMS in the car. We purchased a dvd player and hope it will offer us some peace. 

-She had her first big kid sickness. I handled throw up better than anticipated. Yay me. 

-She is obsessed with washing her hands

-She loves brushing her teeth. She forces me to brush with her. maMA!! We will have the best teeth hygiene. 

-She is getting much better at playing by herself and sometimes even in a different room. 

-She loves music. We have a different stereo on in each room by the end of an evening.
