16 Months PC Update

Phoebe has learned many animal noises this month. Sheep, Elephant, Lion, Cow. and her most favorite CHICKEN.. She requests a chicken sound + arm flap - performance from us on a regular basis.

We started semi-potty training. One time we asked if she had to go potty and she insisted on the big person potty. Um. OK whatever. and VOILA poop! It hasn't happened again. At her insistence, we do spend a lot of time sitting and pretend wiping. (need more toilet paper)

Phoebe says no and yes. And knows what she wants, when she wants it. You can no longer trick her into something. If she says no. She means no. Got it.

She still never leaves a 4 foot radius of me. We are working on that.....

She likes to read books. She brings you a book and forces herself into your lap. It doesn't matter what you are doing. All stops for book time.

Phoebe calls the dog inside in the morning; claps, whistles, screams like a banshee at the door. She also gives Penny her biscuits. They are both so very careful during biscuit time. Penny has come a long way. I am proud of her (and Chip for her training)

She is happiest when her mom and dad are in the same room playing with her. She drags us both by the hand to make that happen.

Phoebe REALLY wants to put on her own socks. She cannot manage to get the sock past her big toe. She will try and try and try and try... for about 15 - 20 minutes before the frustration gets the best of her.

and on to pictures....

Oh Phoebe! You are so adorable. I think you are the perfect combination of your dad and mom. Love seeing all these pics. Good luck with the potty training.

Jen, she is just too cute for words. I love her light hair! I love the smirk on her face while she's covered in cream cheese!
It's going to be so much fun to have your little ones be so close in age....might seem overwhelming now, but that part only lasts a short while. Hope you're feeling good!
